The goal is straightforward: make existing help easier to reach, mobilize more of the Franklin community around local needs, and make future support easier to understand and measure.
Current stage: the informational Franklin pilot is being prepared for public deployment. Resource navigation is available in the site package; donations, Sponsor payments and live Host activation remain gated.

Make help easier to navigate
The public resource experience points residents toward source-checked existing help. Changing details are clearly marked for direct verification.
Put the message where people are
Community Hosts can eventually place approved Franklin Helps signs and QR access points in local businesses, offices and community settings.
Fund responsibly when ready
One-time giving, monthly support and optional sponsorship are designed now, but activate only after the required legal, fiscal, payment, privacy and solicitation gates pass.
Strengthen, don’t duplicate
Qualified local partners and existing services come first. Franklin Helps should add coordination, visibility, funding and gap-filling where useful—not reinvent mature services.
Protect privacy
Browsing public resources does not require a resident profile. Sensitive decisions and private data stay outside the public information experience.
Track with evidence
Future activity is designed for privacy-safe attribution so participation can be measured without turning residents into marketing profiles.
Show the truth publicly
Impact, Host, Sponsor, donor and program status are published only when supported. A zero is better than a fabricated success story.
Franklin does not need another confusing layer between people and help.
Local by design
Franklin is the only active test community. Local participation, campaigns, QR attribution, resource evidence and future impact stay visibly tied to Franklin.
Lean by design
The pilot is built to learn before adding unnecessary physical infrastructure or administrative overhead.
Transparent by design
Status, evidence boundaries, privacy choices and financial activation gates are meant to be understandable to the public rather than hidden in internal operations.
