Is Franklin Helps a nonprofit or tax-exempt organization yet?
Franklin Helps does not currently use this public site to claim separate tax-exempt status or tax-deductibility. The intended long-term structure is a national nonprofit parent with clearly attributed local programs, subject to the required legal and governance approvals.
Can I donate today?
No. Donations and Sponsor payments are not open yet. The Giving page explains how one-time and monthly support is intended to work when authorized.
What is a Community Host?
A Community Host is intended to be a Franklin business or organization that displays approved Franklin Helps signs or QR materials to make local-help information easier to reach.
Does a business have to pay to be a Community Host?
No. Community Host participation is designed to be free. Sponsorship is separate and optional.
What is the difference between a Host and Sponsor?
A Host displays approved local-help materials. A Sponsor provides optional financial support after the Sponsor program is authorized. Neither role provides access to donor or resident lists.
Are listed resources Franklin Helps partners?
Not unless a partnership is separately confirmed. A source-checked listing means Franklin Helps found a useful current resource route; it does not create a partnership or endorsement.
How are resource details checked?
Each resource record keeps a source, checked date and recheck date. Changing details such as hours, availability and eligibility should be confirmed directly on the official source.
Do I need an account to find help?
No. You can browse, filter, save public resource IDs in your browser and share public resource links without creating a Franklin Helps account.
Does Franklin Helps track my searches?
The current public directory does not send raw resource search text into a resident marketing profile. Saved resource IDs stay in your browser unless you choose to share them.
How will impact be measured?
Published metrics must have a clear definition, time period, status and source trail. Goals, forecasts and demo values are not presented as completed impact.
How do I report outdated resource information?
A first-party correction intake is being prepared but is not active yet because privacy, retention, routing and response handling must be authorized first. For urgent changes, rely on the resource's official source.
